Air quality issues delay Veolia incinerator decision

This week's Alton Herald reports on a further delay to the decision on Veolia's plans for a massive commercial incinerator in the rural Wey Valley.

Hampshire County Council have launched a new consultation related to new World Health Organisation targets on air quality, and a number of other topics which Veolia responded "informally" to HCC on previously.

Given local air quality is already worse than the WHO guidelines, campaigners against the incinerator argue the proposal would make the situation even worse.

No Wey Incinerator experts are looking at the material provided to the Council, and will contact supporters when information is available that is useful for supporters to submit to HCC in the consultation.
